The site includes the major public sports and leisure facility in the Borough and includes a swimming pool, gym, squash courts and ice rink.
The swimming pool complex is over 30 years old and is in need of significant refurbishment/redevelopment. Consequently development of this site will need to include a quality community leisure facility to serve the needs of the Borough’s residents and be the main focus for local indoor sports and recreational activities. |
