ACCESS The site is allocated in a prominent location on the A32, the main link between Gosport Town Centre and Fareham and is close to the junction with Heritage Way. Only 6 km from Junction 11 of the M27. It is located on a main bus corridor with connections to the Gosport Ferry with regular services to Portsmouth and national rail network.
RELEVANT HISTORY The site includes the major public sports and leisure facility in the Borough and includes a swimming pool, gym, squash courts and ice rink.

The swimming pool complex is over 30 years old and is in need of significant refurbishment/redevelopment. Consequently development of this site will need to include a quality community leisure facility to serve the needs of the Borough’s residents and be the main focus for local indoor sports and recreational activities.
